Anti-malaria donations
On October 2, the Chinese government donated medical aid valued at 37.9 million Naira to Cross River State in Nigeria, aimed at supporting the state's fight against malaria. The donation was handed over by Fan Yongsheng, Deputy General Manager of BGICC, on behalf of the Chinese Consulate General in Lagos.

Dr. Henry Egbe Ayuk, the Health Commissioner for Cross River State, accepted the donation and expressed the state's gratitude for China's generous support. Dr. Ayuk emphasized the importance of these supplies in the fight against malaria and assured that they would be distributed efficiently to maximize their impact. He also acknowledged China’s investment in training local health officials, enhancing the state's medical capacity.
