China has unveiled a new train that will be used on Beijing's new airport subway line scheduled for testing in September.

With a designed speed of 160 kilometers an hour, it is the fastest of all China’s subway trains. Currently, the speed of most subway trains is 80 km/h.

The train is further capable of fully automated driverless operation, a first in the country.
