In May 2021, CBMI and MCC signed the contract to reach the cooperative relationship at MCC's headquarters in Abuja. CMBI, a central enterprises in China, is one of the Chinese largest cement manufacturers. http://www.cbmi.com.cn/

CBMI will provide construction, installation services and other technical support for MCC to ensure the successful completion of Kano & Kalaba power station. The two companies will carry out strategic cooperation in various areas such as industrial investment and infrastructure, and extend the cooperation to the global regions where both companies are located. Based on the cooperation. the two companies have become strategic partners to jointly promote the Construction of the Belt and Road Initiative.
