Achievement of China solar power
China's solar photovoltaic technology began in the 1970 s, at the beginning, mainly apply to space technology, then gradually expand to the ground and formed the photovoltaic industry in China. Solar power already solve the power problem for 200,000 families from China's Inner Mongolia, gansu, xinjiang, Tibet, qinghai and sichuan etc province. Currently, about 8,300 MW installed photovoltaic power station in China, mainly for the residents of rural areas. Photovoltaic installed capacity rose from 0.6GW in 2010 to 10 GW in 2013. China's PV module production is about 26GW in 2013 which ranked first in the world for 7 consecutive years.
China's wind power industry development situation is gratifying. In 1986, China's Shandong Rongcheng city built the first wind power plant, installed 3 55kW wind turbine. Since then, the construction of a number of wind power plants have been all over the country. In twenty-first Century, China's wind power installed capacity sustained high growth. By the end of 2007, China had built 158 wind power plants, the cumulative installed capacity of 6030MW, exceeded the original installed capacity of 5000MW program objectives. At the end of 2008, installed capacity of wind power reached 12500MW, two years ahead of schedule to achieve the 2010 wind power installed 10000MW, ranked first in Asia, fourth in the world and become one of the national wind power growing fastest in the world, in 2020 is expected to reach 100 million kilowatts.
In the wind power technology and equipment, Dalian Hua Rui 3MW offshore wind turbine installed smoothly, it is China's largest wind turbine unit capacity. In addition, through a series of national support plan, science and technology, China has mastered the basic MW class wind turbine manufacturing technology, the domestic equipment market share reached 69%, already formed the industrial chain of a major component production of leaves, gear box, generator and control system.
