Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi held talks with his Botswana counterpart Pelonomi Venson-Moitoi in June, and they pledged to boost cooperation between the two countries.

Wang said China stands ready to work with the Botswana side to boost practical cooperation, highlighting agriculture and farming, the processing industry, infrastructure, human resources and medical care.

Botswana is willing to expand reciprocal cooperation between the two nations, said the Botswanan foreign minister.
