According to a key policy document released on 28th Jan., 2016, relevant authorities will focus their work on resolving issues related to agriculture, farming and rural development.

China is going to promote innovation, and push forward supply-side structural reform in agriculture. The goal is to transform patterns of rural development, to realize steady growth, and double farmers' income by 2020, compared to that in 2010.
