Klaipeda Port
A Chinese company plans to build a new outer seaport on the basis of the existing Klaipeda seaport in Lithuania, one of the largest seaport in the Baltics. The new seaport be able to deal with ships of the Baltmax class, which require a depth of the 18 meters(59 feet), while its container capacity at the initial stage will amount to 200,000 twenty-foot-equivalent units, it is possible there will be a significant increase during the next several years.
